Making music is a way for me to connect to something which can offer a glimpse of a brighter future. Written and recorded during the long autumn of 2021 in my tiny home studio on the edge of Edinburgh, Scotland. The view of the surrounding landscape can be dark, bleak, rainswept and bitterly cold. Occasionally, the sun appears, offering a glimpse of something beautiful, cinematic, powerful and emotional. I’ve tried to capture that feeling in music. The track is called Reimagined Future.

It may seem a bit strange, to write words to an instrumental music track with no vocals on it!? For a long time I listened to this music and it didn't trigger any words, just a jumble of random images. Writing the words helped me form ideas for the video and make some sense of what was going on.
